Putting the chance of mess and mishaps aside, there is one very important reason for not eating at your desk. Your brain will soon start to associate working with eating and every time you sit down to write that report or check your email your body will start craving food causing you to consume extra calories during the day.
If you’re already in the habit of eating while working, flip the situation to your advantage. Every time you crave a snack, grab a bottle of water and train your mind into thinking about getting your daily water intake while you’re sitting at your desk.
