Using Your Gray Water

Earlier last week we posted a lengthier article detailing some ways to support the recycling movement in your household. One of these ways was using gray water to flush your toilet. Just in case you aren’t aware, gray water is what is leftover from your showers, clothes and dish washers, and the sink. If you think about it, that’s a lot of water going down the drain. That’s not even a pun, that’s just truth.

Alright, it’s a bit of a pun.

Either way, you can put that water to good use by using it to flush your toilet. This not only helps reduce your water bill (every little bit helps, right?) but also creates a smaller impact on the drinking water you need. Here’s an easy guide to start utilizing the gray water in your home.
