Maybe you’ve always admired the Art Deco look from before World War II, or perhaps you’re just scanning the internet for art renovation ideas. Either way, we’ve got tips for how to make your bathroom a gorgeous contemporary rendition of black and white Art Deco ideas.
Let’s start with the floor. Black and white pinwheel tile does a good job establish the feel of Art Deco from the ground up. When moving to the shower and bathtub walls, exchange the pinwheel for a clean white subway tile that’s accented with a strip of green glass tile. To bring the floor and bathtub patterns together, have both black and green glass extending over the sink.
Speaking of the sink, a combination of carrera marble countertop with black finished maple cabinetry continues the Art Deco theme with regal fashion. Finally, finish off the bathroom with a privacy art glass panel. This will provide a separate space for the toilet without blocking the flow of light, thus having the best of both worlds.
