Taking down the chandelier in our new home’s entryway was a difficult task that took nearly all day to do. You wouldn’t think that it would take that long or require as many steps as it did, but it did. The giant chandelier was black and covered in cobwebs so we were eager to take it down. The ladder we chose wasn’t tall enough, so we had to get a new device to get it done, but the end result was worth it.
Key Takeaways:
- Chandeliers can be large and hard to keep clean because they’re so unwieldy and high.
- One author swapped out an old and ornate chandelier for a smaller, more modern fixture.
- The new chandelier fits better with the decor and is much easier to maintain.
