It’s inevitable. You’re working on a painting project, and no matter how many precautions you take–how much tarp you put down, and use painter’s tape a plenty–you’re bound to get paint somewhere you didn’t want to get it. Usually these kinds of accidents are not a huge deal, because you can paint over the mistake. But how do you get paint off of glass? bobvila.com posted some great instructions in their article “How To: Remove Paint from Glass“.
It’s really a simple process, and it doesn’t require a lot of supplies. You’ll need:
- Glass measuring cup or microwavable dish
- White vinegar
- Rubber gloves
- 3 clean cloths
- A bucket (optional, depending on the size of the job)
- Water
- Dish soap
- A new razor blade
- Glass cleaner
