The next step was to secure lodging for his masterworks, a place which spectators and potential buyers might safely ogle his creations. That place is a six-roomed venue with high ceilings, actually an elderly hotel, dating back to the 1700s. Each available space has been cleverly used to create a visual vignette of the new creations for home décor. The pieces are set in spaces that have been made dazzling by another top-notch creative brain, or a brain team, a group that in fact is an Yves Saint Laurent fave rave. The design team of Atelier Meriguet Carrere is known for it’s painstaking recreation of historical accurate spaces took on the job of making mouthwatering backdrops for the vignettes. Bright, eye-popping tones of pink, blue and orange were the choices.
