If you’re anything like me, time has gotten away from you and the fourth is upon us. I like to dress my kids up in cute outfits to coincide with the holidays and so as I am finishing unpacking my house this week I had to take a break to make this adorable craft with my Princess and Pixie to celebrate the 4th of July.
Materials:
- White T-shirt or Tanktop
- Red Paint
- Blue Paint
- A cute little hand
Instructions:
- Lay your t-shirt out and put something inside it to keep it from bleeding on the back (I skipped this step but it’s better to be safe than sorry).
- Paint your child’s hand blue and place it on the shirt on the left side breast. You can do it straight or sideways, I’ve seen it both ways, we did ours straight.
- Put red paint in a bowl or something else the child can dip their finger in. (With a little help) have them paint the red stripes. As you can see in my picture, I let one child do it on her own and the other one had more guidance. I love the look of the child doing it all their own, but if you’re a little more OCD (believe me I get it!) then help them by lightly painting a line first, then have them go over it themselves.
- Hang to dry.
Happy Independence Day!!
