It's Bath Time!

There is so much benefit in taking a bath that it is easy to convince people that they need a great bathtub to do so.  For an amazing bath you need a very deep bathtub that holds lots of water and an awesome faucet that pours the water into the tub.

Faucet

It is important to have a quality faucet to deliver the water to the bathtub. A quality faucet is made of solid brass and has a really fine finish on the outside. Popular finishes are chrome, brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze. There are other finishes available but they aren’t as easy to find.

Bathtub faucets need to allow for a lot of water to flow quickly. The British Telephone pushes out 10 gallon of water per minute. This means your tub will fill up very quickly. If your tub takes 66 gallon of water to reach the fill line, then it will take less than seven minutes to fill the tub. The English Telephone is another faucet that will fill a tub up fast. This style of gooseneck faucet pours out seven gallon of water per minute. That will still fill a tub pretty darn fast.

The Bathing Experience

A really satisfying bath experience will be in a tub that is beautiful and spacious. Today I am featuring a contemporary Oval Style of tub that is double ended. A double ended tub is a tub that is the same height on both ends of the tub.  This style of of tub allows you to recline at either end of the tub. Since this particular tub is freestanding, it can be placed anywhere in the room as long as it is over the drain hole. Be sure to have a cute, sturdy table nearby to place candles on for some atmosphere during the bath-time.

If a double ended tub is long enough and 30 inches wide or wider, it is suitable for two. Since the two ends are the same both bathers can recline at the same time, getting support for the back and neck.

You will really enjoy bathing when you take time to create a personal private time of relaxation and rejuvenation. Add some essential oils and you will soak away aching muscles while inhaling the beneficial scent of nature’s healing oils.
