• No Curtains On Windows – what? A compromise can be reached by installing mini blinds.
• Bigger is Better – the entire wall is a flat screen. Every man dreams of watching the big game on 60 inch screen.
• Clean-ish is Good – here is why most men don’t complain if the house gets a bit messy, “there’re lots of subtle levels between clean and dirty.” A man’s grading system may be the biggest bell  curve ever.
• Pillow Over-load – enough already, scale down the abundance of pillows that cover the bed, the sofa, the easy chair. A good pillow is important, but in a man’s mind, it is possible to have too much of a good thing.
• How Many Guests Do You Really Have? – why dedicate a room to random individuals who may, or may not visit and stay the night. A room would be better served to house the exercise equipment, your yoga mat, etc. Think about it, if it’s out it will get used more.
• One Soap Fits All – no need to waste money on smelly little bottles of soap for the the bath, face or the “guest” room. Buy one soap, make sure it is a good all purpose soap and just use it.
