Freshen Up Your Bath with DIY Bath Salts

May 25, 2015 By xmlrpc Leave a Comment

Once you see Monica and Chandler enjoying bath salts in Friends, you know you want to try some of your own. But who wants to pay for them? Watch this video and discover how you can do it yourself for cheap.

All you need for supplies are:

  • Baking soda – 1/2 cup
  • Fresh rosemary – 3 tablespoons, destemmed and chopped
  • Epsom salt – 2 cups
  • Dried ginger – 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon oil – 8 drops total
  • Dried lemon zest – 3 tablespoons

First, mix the epsom salt with the baking soda. Add 4 drops lemon oil and whisk together. Then, destem the rosemarry and chop it up. Add that and the lemon zest, ginger, and 4 more drops of lemon oil, then whisk again. That’s all it takes! Keep it in an airtight container and decorate it as you like. Be sure to label it so you remember later!
