Is some of the wood of one of your windowsills or door frames rotting? There’s more than one way to fix that, including replacing the whole piece of wood (maybe not the preferable option, because it might entail replacing the whole door frame or window frame), carving and inserting a wood patch, or grinding out the rotted wood and filling the space with epoxy. This latter option is the subject of an article posted on thisoldhouse.com called “How to Fix Rotted Wood with Epoxy“.
This article features an instructional video that describes every step of the process. The process is pretty simple, and you can do it yourself with these great instructions and tips! Click the link and watch the video to learn more!
