This weekend I was in Kansas City and needed a great cup of coffee. My husband and I ran into Starbucks and got a tall coffee with an espresso shot. It was so good! So today, as I have been working on bathroom vanities all day, I decided to talk about our espresso vanity and how you can get it more than one way.
The Tub Connection has espresso vanities in all sizes from our smallest of about 18 inches to our largest which is 108 inches. Espresso is good whether it is coffee or an espresso vanity.
I am sure I have mentioned before that in the furniture world, the color or finish we call espresso is as dark a brown as you can get without being black. Just like a shot of espresso. If you stare into the liquid it may look black, but we know it is really deep brown.
Two Ways?
I said this espresso vanity is two ways because I am showing you two double sink espresso vanity cabinets that are similar, but different. As you can see in my photo, one of the vanities has a tempered glass counter top with glass vessel sinks and one is white porcelain.
Each of the featured vanities have soft closing hinges so the doors and drawers won’t slam shut. You have to love that! Our family was pretty big and it would have been nice to have this functionality when our kids were all home. The soft close or easy glide hinges not only keep the noise level down, but it helps to increase the life of the cabinet because there is less jarring and slamming against the wood.
Tempered Glass
The glass countertop and vessel sinks on the “Oregon Vanity” are tempered glass, which means that it has been created much like a windshield on a car. If something heavy is dropped on the glass, it will shatter in one piece rather than splinter and break into pieces. This is a great protection for the family. Please note that the tempered glass counter top and sinks will stand up very well to everyday use by your family.
Smooth Porcelain
Porcelain is very smooth, thick and cool. The counter top and vessel sinks on the “Moniteau Vanity” are white porcelain. The sinks are rectangular shaped and they sit on top of the porcelain counter top. Porcelain is a very common product used for countertops and you can see why. It is beautiful and it will look fabulous in your home!
Each espresso vanity has two sets of double doors that have frosted tempered glass panels in them. That is a nice touch. Since this vanity cabinets are very big, the glass panels break up the darkness of the cabinet.
Brushed Chrome
You may want to take notice of the hardware on our espresso vanity as well. The handles on each vanity are brushed chrome. Brushed chrome will match the Polished Chrome and the Brushed Nickel faucet options.
