Over the past several years, popular colors have come and gone. Everyone remembers those “groovy” colors of the ’70s. Green carpet, green appliances, green bathtubs! Well, (thankfully) those days are over! Today, there are a host of favorite colors that people seem to put in their homes. Often these colors are lighter in nature and reflect light very well. Darker colors are also popular. Black cherry, dark brown, and mahogany are popular colors (or finishes) which homeowners are using in their homes and bathrooms.
One finish which has really become popular is espresso! The deep, dark finish allows for a beautiful contrast in many bathrooms. This is especially true when lighter colors are used on the walls of the room. The rich color of the espresso finish draws attention to it, so it can easily become a focal point of the bathroom.
Espresso vanities have a variety of countertops. Many choose a glass top with the sink combined as a single piece. This choice makes for easier installation as you do not need to worry about adding a vessel sink to a piece of glass (always check with the manufacturer, however, as different vanities do have a variety of options). Granite tops are another popular choice. This option gives you the natural look of stone and the uniqueness of the patterns within the rock itself.
There are many different options available with espresso vanities (and other finishes). Over the past several years more and more have become available. The espresso finish can be found on contemporary vanities, modern styles, and even antique models. With a careful search, you can find the one which meets your needs!
