Drip Got You Ticking? Here's Your Guide to Fix It

Faucets can easily be fixed with a little know-how. Take these steps to diagnose and treat your faucet problems today!

1. If your faucet isn’t running, make sure the shut-off valves are open.
2. To see if water is reaching the bleeder valve, loosen it.
3. Clean the aerator on the spout.
4. Putting the aerator back in, see if water now flows.
5. If it’s still not running, close the shut-off valves.
6. Take off the faucet spout with pliers.
7. Take out the diverter valve.
8. Check the cold-water handle by opening its shut-off valve and turning it on.
9. Put the diverter and spout back on.
10. Open the hot-water valve as well as the cold-water.
11. Test again to make sure water’s flowing.
