Double Vessel Sink Vanity

You can be sure that when you are looking for bathroom vanities that there are a lot out there to choose from. I don’t have a Double Vessel Sink Vanity but I would love to. In my next house, I will have one.

I love that two people can get ready for the day or a night out at the same time and not be in each others way. At my house we have one  basin sink in the bathroom and, even though it is a nice  vanity, we are crowded. My husband has to fix his air and so do I so we are both hogging the mirror and the counter space.

Both of the vanities in my feature photo are beautiful. Both are made of solid wood. Both are complete sets, which means they include the cabinet, the two vessel sinks, two mirrors, two single stem faucets and all of the plumbing fixtures you need to complete the installation.

Floor Model

That is where the similarities end. The White Double Vessel Sink Vanity is called Nicholas. This is a floor model, meaning that it stands on the floor with six legs.  The vanity is 63″ Length and 35 1/2″ Height and 19″ Depth (From Floor to Top of Sink).

If 35 1/2 inches seems short, remember that there are two vessel sinks that are sitting on the counter top. You don’t want the sinks so tall that it is awkward to wash your hands.

Wall -Mount Style

The very Cherry Red Double Vessel Sink Vanity is known to us as Caldwell. This is a very modern concept of vanity.  Nothing of the vanity touches the floor. This style is called “wall mounted”, “wall hung” or “floating”. The style is unique and certainly adds a modern look to the bathroom. There is still plenty of storage because there are three soft closing drawers and four doors that open up. I have seen people put beautiful weaved baskets underneath the vanity for additional storage. There are so many neat storage boxes and baskets available that it would be quite simple to find something you would like.

In both instances, there are two mirrors included in the vanity set. The Red Wall Hung Double Vessel Sink Vanity has mirrors that are just glass with no type of trim. However, the White Floor Mount Vanity has two mirrors that have matching wood trim all around  both  mirrors.

Mirrors & Faucets

Both vanities have two vessel sinks. The Nicholas vanity as two rectangular sinks that are white, creating a monochromatic look with the white cabinet, white porcelain counter top and vessel sinks.

The Caldwell vanity has two round vessel sinks that sit on top the wooden top of the cabinet. The counter top has been treated to repel water that might be splashed when washing hands and brushing teeth.

I suggest putting a new coat of a water repellent or polyurethane to be sure there is absolutely no chance of water damage. My family is just not that neat.

Each sink comes with two single stem faucets. You get to choose if you want Polished Chrome or Brushed Nickel.  These faucets are good quality  brass and have a very fine finish on them. Unfortunately, at this time, there is not an Oil Rubbed Bronze option.

Valentine’s Day is today, so I thought pairing a red and a white vanity would be symbolic of a heart and how I love the beautiful products offered by The Tub Connection.
