Happy Monday Tub Connection readers! I hope your weekend was far less stressful than mine and now you’re ready to get back to the grind of the work week. With two trips to the ER for the Princess (one locally and another one two hours away) and a follow up early this week, we’ve been busy busy. Needless to say, I’ve missed you guys!

ACANTHUS ”a CAN thus” : An popular ornamental motif consisting of a stylized leaf of the Mediterranean plant, Acanthus spinous, with large prickly leaves. First seen in ancient Greek architecture to decorate the column capitals of the Corinthian Order (as shown in photo). Found everywhere, but look for it on the legs in Queen Anne and Rococco furniture.
