Date Night on a Dime

Even though the economy is in the tank, love marches on! Going on a date doesn’t have to cost a lot.

5. Make a reservation at your favorite restaurant for desert only
6. Have a Wii night with bowling, tennis, dancing or some fun active game

8. Volunteer together, find a soup kitchen to or community garden to serve others in
9. Go the batting cages or a ball diamond an hit some balls
10. Do a craft together, a visit to Michael’s or Hobby Lobby can give great ideas and supplies
11. Go on a field trip together to local museums
12. Visit attractions and acitivies advertised in the area paper or call the Chamber of Commerece or tourism office for ideas
13. Have a picnic in the park, make it romantic with a bottle of wine
14. Take a staycation, visit a nearby arboritum, forest or lake and experience nature at its best
15. Have Dinner and a Movie, cook the dinner based on the theme of the movie

Investing time with one another is the way to build a relationship. We need to understand it isn’t what we do together, but rather time we spend together that is important.
