Our Ripley Bathroom Vanity is a keeper! This white vanity will look fantastic in any bathroom. It is the perfect size whether your room is small or large.
I love how this looks with any shade of walls. You just can’t go wrong with a white vanity. The finish on the vanity is incredibly thick so there is no bleed-through of the natural wood. The craftsman made this from solid wood and it is very sturdy. Of course, quality furniture is heavy.
Tempered Glass Countertop & Vessel Sink
A set like this one includes the base cabinet and the tempered glass countertop as well as a vessel sink. The glass is very dense and is tempered, so it is protected from shattering if a bowling ball is dropped on it. It will break if hit by something heavy.
The glass countertop and vessel sink look fragile but you will be pleased to know they are both much stronger than they appear. You’ll notice there is a light frost on the counter top and the sink. The frost adds some dimension to the glass and shows it off a bit more.
Frosting
I always like to mention that, if you like a heavier frost, like I do, you can purchase a can of spray on frost at the hardware store and lightly spray the countertop til it is exactly the way you want it. One thing that is absolutely necessary if you decide to add some frost is to shake the can a lot. A whole lot.
Mirror
The white vanity set also includes a matching mirror. The vanity is a good size and can be hung longways or with the shorter end on the top and bottom. The wood trimmed mirror comes with a hanging bracket, so just change it if you want to hang it differently.
Faucet & Hardware
Because this is a White Vanity Set, you get a single stem tall faucet with the purchase.
Anytime you are looking at faucets, be sure to take note of how tall it needs to be. A regular vanity faucet wouldn’t work for this set as it would be too short. In order to connect your home waterlines to the vanity waterlines there are some plumbing fixtures like drain, p trap, supply lines required. Well, we have supplied those as well. Truly, this is a complete vanity set.
When you order the vanity you will be given the option of a polished chrome single stem faucet or a brushed nickel one. They both look great and to help complement both selections, the door pulls on the cabinet are brushed chrome. They look fine with both faucet finishes.
Doors & Drawers
Storage is always an issue in the bathroom, unless you have a room big enough for a double sink and a side cabinet. This white vanity cabinet comes with soft closing doors, which is always very nice! So, the six drawers are easy glide with soft closing and they are pretty big. Lots of stuff can be stored in there. The two tall doors have glass panels that breaks up the white on the front of the cabinet. There is one shelf in there the length of the two doors. I’d say big fluffy towels or tall bottles of shampoo can be hidden in there.
