My mother makes the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. When my family gathers together, it is a given that we will enjoy her 7 pound cheesecake.
Several years ago, I was at dinner with a colleague who ordered cheesecake for desert, when she took the first bite, her eyes rolled back in her head, she fell back in her chair and proclaimed, “this is the best cheesecake I have ever had!”
Cheesecake just demands attention! Those who love it, love it. There is something about the silky creaminess of cheesecake along with the delicate sweetness that is so inviting. There are no one over-powering taste on the pallet and it doesn’t take a huge piece to satisfy.
