When I was younger, like most kids I really did not pay attention to the bathroom. I was far to busy with important things like playing outside, doing homework, or some other very important activity. Like so many, those times have changed for us. Having a bathroom that is not only presentable but stylish and inviting is a lot higher on the list than it used to be.
It’s A Busy Place
In your home, the bathroom is one of the “most visited” rooms in the home, but it needs more attention. Simply having the basics is no longer acceptable by many. You have to spend some time paying attention to the small details. Not only details like “is the mirror smudge-free?” or “Is there enough TP?” (sorry), but details such as, does the whole room tie together with a theme or does the furniture match the design of the tub, or for that matter, the toilet?
Times have changed. We no longer just do the necessities in the bathroom, but we spend more and more time there. It should be a room that received a modest about of attention and the decor should match. Over the next few weeks, make it a goal to look at your bathroom and look at the little details. Color, theme, accessories,… When you take the time to get these right, your whole room can become more of an inviting place to spend more and more time.
