The kitchen sink has 3 main aspects to it that should be considered when buying a new one. These are the material, the configuration of the set-up, and how it is mounted.
A short list of the available materials includes:
- Stainless Steel
- Copper
- Granite
- Ceramic
The configuration refers to the number of bowls and the number of faucet holes. Unless you’re working an industrial kitchen, most people don’t go beyond 3 bowls, and over 4 faucet holes would be outlandish.
You also need to consider the mounting for your sink. There are four options:
- Drop-In
- Integral
- Undermount
- Tile-In
