It may be insanity for you to work out at peak performance for 45 min to an hour everyday, but you can do a 15 minute workout. Even the busiest schedule will allow a work out of 15 minutes and the workout doesn’t have to involve any equipment. Some may use a large rubbery band or just body weight to perform isometric exercises. Most people could even do a simple 15 minute workout on the clock during the work day because this workout won’t necessarily cause heavy perspiration. Even at home while watching television a person could do a workout during commercials.
It isn’t how long a person works out that is the most important, but more the consistency of the workout. Someone who works out for an hour, a few times a month, won’t reap the same benefits of someone who works out consistently a few times a week, even when it is only 15 minutes. One benefit of exercise is that a person looks better because the body is being toned. Additionally, the internal body is being toned by the heart getting a workout, thus lowering blood pressure, curbing appetite and enhances the mood..
This video shows how to do a total body isometric workout. Isometric exercise is sort of a “spot” exercise. Specific areas are targeted during the exercise.
